Michele Logan is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Texas Harmony Teacher Advisory Cabinet Member and 5th grade ELAR teacher, 5th grade PLC leader, Micro-credential Ambassador, TIA Exemplary Teacher, and National Elem. Honor Society Advisor at Harmony Science Academy in Garland, Texas. She focuses on teaching the areas of reading and writing with a large population of her students being ESL as well as encouraging and supporting her honors class through high-level thinking and questioning. She has had the role of a 3rd Grade PLC Leader along with being a mentor leader. Michele Logan was named a Texas TIA Exemplary Teacher (2019-2024). Michele began her teaching career in the small town of Caddo Mills where she was Teacher of the Month, then she moved to teach 3rd grade in Dallas ISD before finding a home here at Harmony teaching both 3rd and 5th grade Reading. She earned her BA in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A & M Commerce and went on to pursue her Master’s as a Reading Specialist from there also.
