L’Rae Robinson is a 2018-19 Teach Plus Illinois Change Agent Teacher Leader. L’Rae teaches kindergarten at Mount Vernon Elementary School, where she serves on the social emotional learning committee, parent engagement committee, Ravinia Reach Teach Play Program, and co-sponsors the National Junior Beta Club. She was a participant in the 2013-2014 “Taking Charge of Change” leadership intensive at the McCormick Center for Early Childhood Leadership. Her experience in the field includes ten years in early childhood classrooms and eight years of directional and administrative experience leading early childhood programs. She graduated from Southern Illinois University with a BA in Liberal Arts and received her MEd in early childhood education from Mercer University.
