Lydia Stoney teaches kindergarten at Memphis College Preparatory Elementary. A 2013 Teach for America-Memphis alumna, Lydia has served as a lead teacher at Memphis College Prep since 2013 and founded the after school art program at the school. She is a current protege in Memphis’ NEXUS Leaders Class of 2016. Lydia graduated with a BA in English and a minor in Educational Policy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
