Ericson Macapuno is a 2026-2027 Teach Plus New Mexico Policy Fellow and algebra and Geo-statistics teacher at Bernalillo High School in Bernalillo, New Mexico. He previously served as the math lead and middle school math teacher at Santo Domingo School. Ericson is a Teach Plus New Mexico Change Agent alumnus currently pursuing National Board Certification in mathematics, holds a 2026 Knowledge in Practice badge grounded in the New Mexico Indigenous Instructional Scope, and is an active member of the International Society for Technology in Education, the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, and the National Indigitize Community of Practice. Ericson earned his BS in elementary education and MA in education from the University of Batangas, Philippinesa and his PhD in English language studies from the Lyceum of the Philippines University.
