Michelle Manigault is a 2025-2026 Teach Plus Illinois Affinity Group Facilitator and reading intervention teacher at West Middle School in Rockford, Illinois. She serves on the Leadership Committee and the Multi-Tiered System of Supports Committee, as well as is a certified reading specialist. Previously, she taught 7th grade English and literary arts, as well as was the Curriculum Implementation Leader for social studies. Michelle taught 3rd grade before that. Michelle earned a BS in education from Rockford College, MA in education and reading specialist certification from Olivet University, and MEd in urban education from Rockford University.
