Margaret (Marg) Brennan is an 8th grade math teacher and mathematics content specialist at Francis Scott Key Middle School in Montgomery County, Maryland. In this role, Marg works with a group of educators to design student-centered lessons and implement instructional practices that develop 21st century learners. She also leads differentiated professional development, models instructional strategies, and coaches her colleagues. Marg has previously taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade math in Prince Georges County, Maryland, as well as 8th, 9th, and 10th grade physics in Guinea, West Africa. Marg collaborates with other educators and students to create bilingual instructional videos for families’ access. She earned her BS in biology and psychology from Pennsylvania State University and her MEd in curriculum and Instruction from American University.
