Marjorie Yap is a 2021-2022 Teach Plus Texas Houston ISD Policy Fellow who teaches 8th grade English at Baylor College of Medicine Academy at James D. Ryan Middle School in Houston. Marjorie sponsors UIL Academics and Speech and Debate, is a member of her campus’ interdisciplinary studies committee, and has presented at two conferences on integrating the health sciences into the core curriculum. She graduated with a BA in English and MA in secondary education and teaching from Trinity University.
