Mark Rogers is a 2019-20 Teach Plus Texas Senior Fellow. Mark teaches 1st grade at Austin Achieve, continuing with the same students over a 13-year, K-12 loop. Mark was awarded an HEB Excellence in Education Award, a PAEMST State Finalist Award, and a PBS Innovative Educator 1st Place Prize. He sits on the SXSWedu Advisory Board and mentors students from The University of Texas at Austin and Southwestern University. He earned a BBA in Finance and a BA in Spanish from The University of Texas at Austin and an MEd in Educational Technology from WGU Texas.
