Angela Mattingly is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Arkansas Policy Fellow and a 3rd-grade teacher leader at Alma Intermediate School in Alma. She focuses on PLC leadership within her third-grade level meetings so that teachers are growing and improving and previously served as a member of the Personnel Policy Committee. Angela has been a mentor for the University of Arkansas Fort Smith for upcoming educators and the Alma Intermediate Quiz Bowl Coach for the 4th-5th grade. Angela was a 2022-2023 nominee for Teacher of the Year. Angela began teaching in 2010 after teaching pre-K for 12 years through Head Start Child and Family Services and completed the Arkansas Leadership Academy in 2024. She earned her BS in early childhood from the University of Arkansas Fort Smith.
