Anna Mayotte is a 2023-2024 Michigan Teacher Leadership Collaborative Member, a 5th grade language arts and social studies teacher leader, and Literacy Master Teacher at Gardner Elementary in Detroit, Michigan. She focuses on teacher development through instructional coaching and professional learning in the areas of literacy instruction in order to foster skilled readers. Anna serves on the Instructional Leadership Team and has helped develop her district’s Detroit History curriculum as a member of the Detroit History Advisory Committee. She earned her BA in elementary education from Michigan State University.
