Kelsey McCaffrey is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus New Mexico Alumni Policy Fellow. Kelsey is the Elementary Principal in Residence at Albuquerque Collegiate Charter School in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She focuses on the support and development of teachers through instructional and data coaching. Kelsey previously worked as the instructional & data coach and taught kindergarten at ACCS. Kelsey continues to use her teacher voice through the Teach For America Alumni Board; Outstanding Leader Award LENS BES Fellowship; and Coaching & Evaluating Presenter Public Charter Schools of New Mexico Education Renaissance. Kelsey began her teaching career in New Mexico as a Teacher For America corps member and serves on the New Mexico TESOL to support English learners throughout New Mexico. She earned her BA in international relations at California State University Chico, and is in her final year of her MEd in educational studies at Johns Hopkins University.
