Gloria McDuffy is a 2025-2026 Teach Plus Mississippi Policy Fellow, and Early Interventionist and Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments at Mississippi Schools for the Deaf and Blind in Jackson, Mississippi. She teaches children with visual impairments, as well as those who are blind or deaf-blind, with an emphasis on providing additional support for children ages birth to 5 and K-12 students in the school setting. Gloria has served as Head Track Coach (2017-2019), with the team winning the regional championship throughout those years. In addition, she initiated a Scholastic Honor Society Charter at S.V. Marshall School. Gloria began her teaching career in Lexington and has taught middle school English, served as chair of the Poetry Club, and been a grades 7-12 English and speech communication teacher. She earned her BS in business management and MAT from Belhaven University.
