Dr. Michael D. Johnican is a 2021-2022 Teach Plus Texas Houston ISD Policy Fellow who teaches 8th grade Science and Advanced Science at Revere Middle School in Houston. Michael is the chair of the Science department, works as a mentor in the HISD Mentoring program for new teachers, and serves on the Educational Improvement Council with Alief ISD. Michael graduated from Texas Southern University with a BS in Biology and received his PhD in Environmental Toxicology.
