Dara Miller is a 2026-2027 Teach Plus Illinois Senior Leadership Fellow and high school English teacher and department chair at The Chicago High School for the Arts in Chicago. She previously taught journalism and drama and served as a professional development coordinator and building leadership team member. Dara served as union chairperson (2020-2023), continuing as an organizer and communications chair. She is a member of the Facing History and Ourselves English Language Arts Advisory Board. Dara earned a BA in English education from Murray State University and MA in English literature from DePaul University.
