Jake Miller is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Mississippi Policy Fellow. He is the 9th-12th grade social studies teacher at Shaw High School in Shaw, Mississippi, and sponsors the National Honor Society, and the Mock Trial Team, and serves as head coach for the Lady Warriors Volleyball Team. Jake began his teaching career at Ray Brooks School in Benoit, Mississippi as a Teach for America corps member, and has taught a variety of courses including world history, US history, US government, economics, and AP human geography. He earned his BS in economics and BA in political science from the University of Alabama and completed his MEd through Johns Hopkins University.
