Faneeza Mohamed

Faneeza Mohamed is a 2025-2026 Teach Plus California Emergent Bilingual Change Agent. She is a graduate-level instructor at the Los Angeles County of Education, teaching aspiring educators, and Dean of Discipline at Westchester Enriched Sciences Magnets in Los Angeles. Previously, she taught grades 2-3 at Watts Learning Center, 6th grade English and history at Wright Middle School STEAM & Gifted Magnets, and was assistant principal at Baldwin Hills Elementary School. Faneeza also has been Title 1 Coordinator, English Learner Designee, and Testing Coordinator. She was elected as the Educational Director of the Westchester/Playa Neighborhood Council (2019-2021) and was on the advisory council for the California Charter School Association. Faneeza earned a BA in psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles; MA in education from Pepperdine University; MA in educational leadership from California State University, Northridge; and is pursuing a doctorate in educational leadership at Aspen University.
