Cory Montreuil is a 2025-2026 Teach Plus Colorado Charter Policy Fellow and special education teacher at DSST: Conservatory Green High School in Denver. He leads the Diverse Learners Team and is Multi-Tiered System of Supports Coordinator. Previously, Cory worked on the Montbello Campus as a high school math teacher. Cory built the Montbello Warriors Wrestling Program. He was named Denver Public Schools’ (DPS) Coach of the Year (2015-2016), Alumni Speaker for City Year’s Opening Day (2018), and has been a guest speaker for Denver University’s Teacher Education Program (2024). Cory began his educational career as a 2011 City Year Founding Corps member. He has served as a union representative. Cory earned his BS in secondary math education from the University of New Hampshire, MA in curriculum and instruction with a focus in culturally and linguistically diverse learners from the University of Denver, and certificate in Special Education (K-12) from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
