Gus Morales is a 2026-2027 Teach Plus Massachusetts Policy Fellow and 8th grade English Language Arts teacher at Claremont Academy in Worcester, Massachusetts. He has served as a DESE InSPIRED Fellow, Aspiring Principal Fellow, Principal Teacher Advisory Council member, CURATE curriculum review panelist, Instructional Leadership Team member, district DEIB committee member, Code & Culture Team co-lead, and Belonging & Culture Advocate, while bringing more than a decade of experience teaching middle and high school English Language Arts and AP African American Studies. Gus is a recipient of Stonehill College’s Graduate Teacher Education Scholar Award (2024). He earned a BA in English and communications from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, an MEd in curriculum and instruction from Fitchburg State University, and an MEd in inclusive education from Stonehill College, with a certificate in diversity, equity, and inclusion.
