Mikaila Morrison is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Texas Harmony Teacher Advisory Cabinet Member. Makaila is a 7th and 8th grade social studies teacher at Harmony Science Academy in Grand Prairie, Texas. She also serves as a member of the Instructional Leadership Team (ILT). She has served on the ILT for two years as well as previously serving as a mentor teacher, department chair, and professional learning community lead. She graduated from Texas A&M with a BA in psychology and received her MEd in educational leadership and policy studies from the University of Texas at Arlington. She received her JD from Baylor Law School prior to entering the field of education.
