Vanessa Mosqueda is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus California Emergent Bilingual Change Agent. Vanessa is co-founder of the Spanish Dual Immersion Program at Cesar Chavez Elementary School in Long Beach, California. She is a Long Beach native and Long Beach Unified School District alumna. She is passionate about bilingual education and supporting neurodivergent students in the dual language classroom. She has several years of experience in the primary grades. She holds an MA in dual language development from California State University Long Beach as well as an MA and administrative credential in principal leadership from the University of California Los Angeles.
