Jessica Muñoz is a 2025-2026 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Policy Fellow and English Language Development teacher and department chair at William Allen High School in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She supports the English Development team as well as the wider school community on expanding their instructional and socioemotional toolkits to support English Language Learners. She has taught grades 5-12 for the last thirteen years, and has worked in public and charter schools throughout her time in education. She has served as grade team chair, department head, and other mentoring roles to new and veteran teachers alike. Previously, she served as a New York City Teaching Fellow (2012-2015). She has a BA in Social Sciences from Sarah Lawrence College, MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Hunter School of Education, and is currently pursuing a PsyD in Organizational Psychology from Touro University Worldwide.
