Evelyn Murdock is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Illinois Chicago Change Agent and a Curriculum and Instructional Coach at Hirsch High School in Chicago. She focuses on teacher development, implementation and progression of curricula, assessments, and Literacy in order to foster growth among students and staff and to reach the school’s annual learning goals. Evelyn has served as a high school English teacher, department chair, school administrator, and college professor. Evelyn is a National Board Certified Teacher, New Leaders alumna, the founder of A Sister’s L.O.V.E., Inc, and a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority. She earned a BS in English education from the University of Illinois-Chicago; an MEd in reading from Saint Xavier University; an additional MEd in administration and supervision from National Louis University; and an EdD in educational leadership from National Louis University.
