Emma Muth

Emma Muth is a 2025 Teach Plus National Teacher Policy Cabinet Senior Board Member. She is a 2nd-grade lead teacher at Roger Bryan Elementary School in Las Vegas, Nevada. In addition to her work on the Teacher Policy Cabinet, Emma is involved in expanding Teach Plus state policy efforts and programming in Nevada. Emma also conducts state policy research for the Clark County Education Association, the largest independent teachers union in the country.

Emma currently leads her grade-level team and supports her school’s Garden Committee in partnership with Green Our Planet, an organization seeking to expand children’s STEM and financial literacy education through school garden programs. Previously, she worked in private and international school settings. In 2019, she was awarded a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA) grant to Indonesia, where she taught English language learners in Temanggung, Central Java.

Emma earned her BA from Drake University and her MEd in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
