Nathan Pearsall is a Teach Plus Colorado Teaching Policy Fellow. Nathan teaches United States history, AP United States history, critical thinking, and advises student council at Vista Ridge High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He is the social studies department chair and the gifted and talented coordinator for the school. Nathan has served as an instructional coach, a mentor teacher, and has supported student teachers throughout his five years at Vista Ridge High School. He is one of the inaugural members of the Colorado Commissioner of Education’s Teacher Cabinet and was selected to speak at graduation by the Senior class of 2016, one of his greatest honors as a teacher. Nathan holds a BS in History and a Master of Arts in Education with an emphasis on Secondary Social Studies from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri.
