Neisa Pimentel is a 2018-19 Teach Plus Rhode Island Teaching Policy Fellow. Neisa is a 7th grade medieval history and geography teacher at Governor Christopher Delsesto Middle School in Providence, RI. Previously, she taught history at Sheila “E” Skip Nowell Leadership Academy, where she was a member of the college and career committee. Neisa serves as a board member of Valiant Arts, a performance arts program for young adults. She graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a BS in Human Services.
