Nicholas Vassolo is a Teach Plus Illinois Teaching Policy Fellow. Nicholas teaches 12th grade AP Macroeconomics and AP Comparative Government in the World Languages International Studies Academy at Streamwood High School, part of the Elgin-based District U-46. Nick is the teacher leader for the Academy’s community outreach programs. He earned a BA in History from the University of Illinois at Chicago, an MEd in Teacher Leadership and Curriculum Development from Concordia University, and an MAT in Secondary Education from Roosevelt University.
