Nicole Moore is a 2020-21 Teach Plus Mississippi Policy Fellow. She is a 9th and 10th grade English Language Arts teacher, ELA department lead, and curriculum and instructional coach at Coahoma Early College High School in Clarksdale, Mississippi. She focuses on creating a learning environment that fosters literacy skills through a culturally relevant curriculum and advocacy. Nicole was awarded Coahoma AHS District Teacher of the Year for the 2017-18 and 2019-20 school terms. She earned her BA in English for Secondary Education from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia and an MSEd in Educational Studies from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland.
