Nicole Weeks is a 2019-20 Teach Plus Rhode Island Policy Fellow. Nicole teaches special education to students with severe and profound disabilities at Chariho High School in Woodriver Junction, RI. She is a master teacher at Chariho High School, mentoring new educators and supporting professionals on an improvement plan. Nicole is a Dare to Dream Regional Champion liaison with the Rhode Island Department of Health, where she assists the coordination of a yearly conference that provides youth with resources to lead healthy lives through transitional periods. Nicole earned a BFA in art education from Pratt Institute and a MED in special education severe and profound disabilities and a MED in educational leadership from Rhode Island College.
