Lauren Oliech is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Equity Leadership Institute member and teaches kindergarten math, English language arts, science, and social studies at Jeannette McKee Elementary School in Jeannette, Pennsylvania. She is a member of the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support (PBIS) committee, as well as the newly developed Tier 2 Support PBIS Team. Lauren is a member of the children’s department at the Greensburg Hempfield Area Library, where one of her children’s programs focused on kindergarten readiness received recognition by the Pennsylvania Department of Education’s Office of Commonwealth Libraries as an outstanding summer reading program (2022). She earned her BS in early childhood education and MS in curriculum and instruction with a specialization in early learning Leadership from Saint Vincent College.
