Olivia Corya is a Teach Plus Indianapolis Teaching Policy Fellow. Olivia teaches 6th grade humanities at KIPP Indy College Prep, where she also directs the development and implementation of a peer mediation program. Olivia serves as a member of her school’s leading for equity team, co-planning staff development sessions focused on how race impacts their work as educators. She previously taught all 6th grade subjects at St. Anthony Catholic School. Olivia served as a 2017 Emerging Leaders Fellow at KIPP. She graduated from Indiana University with a BA in Journalism, International Studies, and Spanish, and received her Master of Arts in Teaching with a focus on Elementary Education from Marian University.
