Christina Ordonez is a 2026-2027 Teach Plus Illinois Affinity Group Community & District Partner. She is the technology and media department chair, new educator coordinator, and theatre director at Hoffman Estates High School in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Christina previously taught high school English and reading. She received the Illinois State Board of Education Those Who Excel Award of Excellence (2012 and 2025) and is a published author in educational leadership journals. Christina earned a BA in English secondary education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and MA in curriculum and instruction from Concordia University Chicago.
