Abby Osborn is a 2026-2027 Teach Plus California Emergent Bilingual Change Agent. She is an elementary English Language Development (ELD) teacher and English learner coordinator at Tahoe Lake Elementary in Tahoe City, California. Abby teaches ELD through academic discourse and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) building projects. She previously taught two-way immersion kindergarten and gifted and talented education, starting as an AmeriCorps volunteer for Head Start. Abby was named a Teacher Who Makes a Difference for Placer County (2018–2019). She earned a BA in history from San Diego State University and teaching credential with a focus on bilingual and multicultural education from California State University, Sacramento.
