Catherine Page is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Illinois Policy Fellow and a 4th and 5th grade special education teacher leader and inclusion coordinator at Gregory Elementary in Chicago, Illinois. She focuses on teaching children multisensory literacy strategies, social-emotional and interpersonal skill development, and inclusive independence skills in order to foster classrooms where all students are valued for their unique skill sets. She has previously led teacher development seminars on inclusion, student emotional support systems, and literacy strategies for emergent readers. Caty began her teaching career as a Chicago Teaching Fellow and AmeriCorps Fellow. She has since worked as an inclusion, resource, and self-contained teacher with students between Pre-K and eighth grade. She earned her BS in English language arts education with an ESL endorsement from the University of Central Florida and received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Illinois-Champaign.
