Desiree Patten is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Massachusetts Policy Fellow and the director of Harbor City School, a small non-profit preschool in East Boston, Massachusetts. She strives to provide teachers with the development and support needed to foster learning, social-emotional growth and resiliency. Desiree was the lead teacher and driving force to turn Harbor City School into a Reggio-Emilia modeled school. She earned a BS in Behavioral Science and a BS in Business Management from the University of Maine at Fort Kent.
