Paulina Martinez is a 2018-19 Teach Plus California Policy Fellow. Paulina is a 6th grade Spanish Language Arts teacher at Chula Vista Learning Community Charter School, a 50-50 dual immersion school in the city of Chula Vista, California, where she is head of the Comunidad committee, focusing on bringing together community amongst the staff and the teachers at the school site. Paulina has also taught 4th grade math, English, and science. She graduated from the University of California Los Angeles with a BA in Political Science, and double minored in Anthropology and Society and Genetics. She holds a Multiple Subjects Bilingual credential from San Diego State University.
