Gretchen Pearson is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Colorado Charter Teacher Policy Fellow and a 7th grade English teacher at Aurora Science and Technology Middle School in Aurora. She focuses on teaching reading and writing analysis skills in order to prepare students to be active citizens. Gretchen also serves as the 7th grade team lead and soccer coach. She began her teaching career in Mississippi as a 2021 Teach for America Corps Member. She earned her BA in history from Davidson College.
