Peggy Wallace is a Teach Plus Colorado Teaching Policy Fellowship alumna, Senior Research Fellow and a member of Teach Plus’s CEO Cabinet. Peggy is the Lead Teacher and an Early Childhood Special Educator at Widefield Preschool in Colorado Springs. She is an instructional coach and member of the Building Advisory and Accountability Committee. Previously, she was a preschool director and early interventionist, leading change in District Child Find practices, guiding classes for early childhood professional development, and establishing community-connected roles for family support. Peggy has also been a clinical instructor and university supervisor for the Inclusive Early Childhood Education Program at University of Colorado Colorado Springs. Peggy graduated from Ball State University with a BA in Early Childhood Education and received her MA in Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Northern Colorado.
