Delianny Perez Marte is a 2026-2027 Teach Plus Massachusetts Senior Policy Fellow and high school biology teacher in Lawrence, Massachusetts. She designs culturally responsive, literacy-rich science curricula for multilingual learners and mentors early-career teachers to strengthen equitable instruction. Previously, Delianny served as a teaching assistant for introductory biology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and contributed to the development of science units aligned to Massachusetts standards with a focus on English learner supports. She was recognized for excellence in undergraduate research at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and chosen to participate in the Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education’s Science Performance Assessment Ambassador Program. Delianny is an advocate for equity in education through community-based initiatives and collaborates with local organizations to strengthen school–family partnerships. She earned a BS in biology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and is pursuing her MEd in education at Merrimack College.
