Nicole Perrine-Wilson is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Policy Fellow and is a German teacher, World Language Department Chair and Gay-Straight Alliance Advisor at Wissahickon High School in Ambler, Pennsylvania. She facilitates student exchanges with a partner school in Germany to foster cultural understanding and global citizenship. Nicole has presented at numerous local, state and national conferences on the importance of global citizenship and advocacy for LGBTQ+ students in our schools. Nicole is a past president of the Philadelphia Vicinity American Association of Teachers of German, was named a national Goethe Institut Award of Excellence for her work in promoting cultural awareness, and was awarded state German Teacher of the Year when she taught in Florida. She earned her BA in German Language and her MEd in Foreign Language Education both from the University of Florida. She is currently completing her Principal Certification from Eastern University.
