Elena Petroukhina is a 2025–2026 Teach Plus Arkansas Policy Fellow and middle school art educator at Mann Magnet Middle School of Multimedia Arts and Digital Innovations in Little Rock, Arkansas. She co-leads her school’s partnership with Crystal Bridges Museum of Art and is working on a community project in which students learn their school’s history. Elena has been the Fine Arts Department chair for three years and is a National Board Certified educator. She earned her BS in art education from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, MEd in teaching English as a second language from Henderson University, and MA in studio arts with emphasis in ceramics from the University of Arkansas in Little Rock.
