Juanita Price is a 2026-2027 Teach Plus Indiana Alumni Policy Fellow and Instructional Literacy Cadre Coach at James Whitcomb Riley School in Indianapolis. She began her career teaching and observing educational systems internationally in South Korea and Dubai. Juanita has shared her practitioner voice through essays and testimonies during legislative sessions (2018-2019). Her essay “Policy Matters” was published in Phi Delta Kappan’s Special Report on diversifying the teaching force (2021). Juanita received a BA in psychology from Fisk University and MEd in curriculum and instruction with a K-6 elementary education license from Middle Tennessee State University.
