Samanta Ramirez is a 2026-2027 Teach Plus Arkansas & Mississippi Policy Fellow and 4th grade teacher at Crystal Springs Elementary School in Crystal Springs, Mississippi. She helps lead family engagement initiatives for English learners and Hispanic students, and co-founded the Christian Teachers’ Prayer Group. Samanta previously taught 2nd grade at Ann Smith Elementary. She is a Community Health Promoter with a local nonprofit organization and is currently pursuing National Board certification. Samanta earned a BA in communications with a minor in marketing and Spanish from the University of Southern Mississippi and an MA in teaching from Delta State University.
