Zachary Ramsey is a 2026-2027 Teach Plus New Mexico Policy Fellow and project teacher at ACE Leadership High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He previously taught high school English in North Carolina and Kentucky and served as an adjunct professor of education at the University of New Mexico and Touro University. Zachary was named Teacher of the Year (2017-2018) at Shelby County Area Technology Center and received the Susan Deese-Roberts Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award (2022-2023). He holds a teaching license in secondary English language arts, with an additional endorsement in K-12 gifted education. Zachary earned a BS in psychology from Mount Olive University, MAT in teaching from East Carolina University, and PhD in teaching, learning, and teacher education from the University of New Mexico.
