Tamarah Rash is a 2025-2026 Philadelphia Affinity Group Network Facilitator. She is a 6th grade English language arts and 6th and 7th grade social studies teacher in the School District of Philadelphia. In the past two decades, Tamarah has formed multiple racial equity committees as part of her commitment to empower her students and peers to recognize, address, and dispel stereotypes, biases, and systematic racism. She has participated in the Reimagining Gary convention and has been a member of her district’s Equity Coalition. Tamarah earned a BS in English and childhood studies from Rutgers University-Camden and an MS in instruction from Drexel University.
