Rebecca Belleville is a Teach Plus Maryland Teaching Policy Fellow. She teaches 8th grade design exploration and AP art history at the Baltimore Design School, where she is a member of the instructional leadership team, the new teacher mentor, and runs the curatorial club. Becca is a district-wide professional development facilitator and curriculum writer for the visual fine arts, an ART21 educator, and presents nationally at universities and conferences on various facets of urban art education. In 2015, Rebecca published a research article in a peer-reviewed journal on making art history accessible to urban students. She earned a BFA in Painting and an MA in Art Education from the Maryland Institute College of Art.
