Eleanor Reese is a 2026-2027 Teach Plus Philadelphia Affinity Group Network Facilitator. She is a K–8 special education, learning support, and Social Emotional Learning (SEL) teacher at Olney Elementary School in Philadelphia. Eleanor previously served as her school’s SEL leader and committee facilitator. She began teaching special education in 2004. Since 2015, she has served as a Professional Development Leader with the Philadelphia Federation of Teachers, designing and facilitating workshops on whole-child education and educator wellness. Eleanor earned a BA from Temple University, MA from Gratz University, an SEL certificate through Saint Elizabeth University and Rutgers University, and a principal certification from Cabrini University.
