Trey Rice is a 2025-2026 Teach Plus Mississippi Policy Fellow, and grades 7-12 inclusion teacher and university mentor at Strayhorn High School in Sarah, Mississippi. He serves as a university mentor for incoming special education teachers and on his school’s Multi-Tiered System of Support team. Previously, Trey served as a Professional Learning Community Chair for social studies, 6th grade, and computer technology. He has taught grades 5-12, including history, math, cyber foundations, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, and special education. Trey earned a BA in history from Mississippi State University, an MA in secondary education from Mississippi State University, and a Specialist’s degree in educational leadership from Mississippi State University.
