Robin Gilpatrick is a Teach Plus Commonwealth Teaching Policy Fellow. Robin is a 6th grade teacher at the Woodsdale School in the South Shore community of Abington. She teaches all subjects with her students and acts as a mentor and peer assistant with her colleagues, offering professional development in classroom management. Robin has published a manual “Classroom Management Strategies” (Robin Fredericks, 2015), designed to help teachers proactively address issues of behavioral noncompliance. Robin represents her local union at the Plymouth County Education Association and has served her local in other roles. She earned a BS from Westfield State College, an MEd from Bridgewater State College, and a doctorate degree in Teacher Leadership from Walden University.
