Alex Robins is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus California Policy Fellow who teaches AP US History, US History SDAIE, and ASB at Terra Linda High School in San Rafael, California. Alex is the campus’ Social Sciences department chair and teaches in the Marin School of Environmental Leadership. He is a co-adviser of the Gender and Sexuality Alliance (GSA) and Student Leaders Anti-Racist Movement (SLAM). He was formerly part of a leadership team in the San Rafael City Schools District working toward future Standards-Based grading implementation. Alex was named Golden Bell winner for outstanding teaching in public education in Marin County (2022). He graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA in history and received an MA in education and credential from the University of Phoenix.
