Cartier Robinson is a 2025-2026 Teach Plus Texas Policy Fellow. He is a world geography and African-American studies teacher and Assistant Cheer Coach at Del Valle High School near Austin. He cultivates critical-thinking skills, cultural and global awareness, and student leadership. Cartier also served as Anime Club and National Honor Society Co-Sponsor. He began his education career in Memphis, Tennessee, as a Teach for America corpsmember (2021). After teaching 8th grade for a year, he became the social studies lead and a mentor teacher. Cartier earned a BA in psychology and African and African-American studies from Duke University.
